EGLAF, FLORIDA
Eglaf is a city in the U.S. state of Florida. It is the county seat of Seminole County. The city sits approximately 34 miles north of the central business district of Orlando, and approximately 23 miles west of the central business district of Daytona Beach.
This is the portal city where the Displaced Supers seem to be appearing when they first arrive. The city is chock full of places to go and people to see, what with the booming small business district in Historical Downtown and the restaurant row on the lower east side, not to mention The Square on the upper east side where you can catch live music, comedy shows, and theatrical performances every weekend on the main stage outdoors or the Oakdale Theater a few blocks away.
This portal town has plenty of government housing for Displaced Supers near Historical Downtown. The Eglaf Government Housing is a secure, gated community tucked back out of the way of the rest of downtown so that the Displaced Supers can get some privacy, but also so that the locals who wish to can ignore their presence can easily do so by never having to run into them at their own apartment buildings.
All of the government-assigned entry-level jobs are in the town of Eglaf, but some of them have opportunities for transfer positions in other cities. All the characters have to do is ask.

LAGUNA BEACH, CALIFORNIA
Laguna Beach is a small coastal city in Orange County, California. It’s known for its many art galleries, coves and beaches. Main Beach features tide pools and a boardwalk leading to the paths and gardens of nearby Heisler Park. Aliso Beach Park is a popular surf spot. The waters off Crystal Cove State Park are designated as an underwater park. Trails meander through coastal canyons in Laguna Coast Wilderness Park.
Great for catching some rays, hiking, surfing, and shopping, Laguna Beach, California is one of the open portal cities to which the Displaced Supers can teleport easily. In Laguna Beach, Supers are most likely to be left to their own devices; these locals aren't impressed.
There's no government housing, but there's plenty of really great places to live if characters can afford and want to relocate.

WASHINGTON, D.C.
Washington, DC, the U.S. capital, is a compact city on the Potomac River, bordering the states of Maryland and Virginia. It’s defined by imposing neoclassical monuments and buildings – including the iconic ones that house the federal government’s 3 branches: the Capitol, White House and Supreme Court. It's also home to iconic museums and performing-arts venues such as the Kennedy Center.
It's not just about the National Mall and all of the monuments and memorials within. In Washington, DC, there's always something to do or see. If you're a foodie, this is the portal town for you. You won't want to miss the National Cherry Blossom Festival in early April or Georgetown GLOW from early December into the new year. There's also the National Zoo all year round or Baltimore is only an hour bus ride away and you can check out the Aquarium, if that's more up your alley.
There's no government housing in DC as of yet, but there's no shortage of affordable or upscale housing for those interested in relocating there.
HOUSING OPTIONS
Displaced Supers will be assigned to one of the bedrooms in a three-bedroom apartment in the government housing in Eglaf, Florida by default (although players may OOCly request specific housing assignments) and rent and utilities will be covered by the government, although once they've been on Earth 846 for a little while, they're welcome to relocate to their own apartments or homes in Eglaf, D.C., or Laguna Beach if they can afford to do so, as once they leave this community of apartments, they'll no longer be living on the government's dime.
Click the city name above to see more information, including floorplans, a description, and housing assignments.

OAK RIDGE APARTMENTS
EGLAF, FLORIDAWhat it says on the tin:Located on the west side of town, Oak Ridge Apartments are affordable one bedroom apartments with a location convenient for public transportation. Off-street parking, dishwasher in unit, on-site laundry facility, and pet-friendly, Oak Ridge is a great place to call home. What you actually get:Located on the side of town better left forgotten, Oak Ride Apartments are the only housing unit that accepts Section 8 and isn't a roach-infested hell hole. The AC hardly ever works, so they stopped advertising it on the website and, by laundry facility, they mean a room no bigger than one of the apartment unit living rooms with four washers and four dryers, all requiring $1.25 per load. There's a bus stop on the corner at the end of the street and, if you refer someone to Oak Ridge Apartments and their application is accepted, you'll get a free bus pass for all public busses good until December 31 of that year (so maybe ask your friends to move in early in January, huh?). But hey, they're the only housing option in the city, other than the government housing for Displaced Supers, that doesn't have breed restrictions in place, so there's that?
